So the night started off with delay due to the crazy traffic backup around Vermont Ave/K Street area in Washington, DC. Metromix’s Angie Salame showed up glam and ready to share good times with DC young professionals and Joesephine guests. Samy K of Hot 99.5 (erm, Metromix)showed up in serious party style with his usual playful personality rocking it! He shared time for a few pics and media knowledge.
While watching the crowd enter the room, I found bartendress vixens Charnay and Samantha, “Sam”, sporting sexy smiles and kicking off the network night with great conversation. You can’t have a party without the DJ! So I sped off to the DJ booth and found the musical duo Party on Marz spinning up a great set of dance and crossover tracks. DJ Buddy Lee took the time to chat with me and tell me about his company. As we spoke we discussed the nature of music production,crowds and what Europe would think of their set. Afterward I found the Metromix street team had a delicious little treat of chocolate shot glasses filled with champagne. What a shot! A shout to Stephanie Nissan Nichols, Metromix Managing Producer. Stephanie’s fun personality really made the premise of the night a networking success! I found we have a love for the Siberian Huskey which makes for interestring story swaps!
